  A great space to learn about the history of Cumberland from the bustling mining city to a village of 3600 people. It took me about 1.5 hours to look and read everything. My most favorite part is the photography collection of Hayashi/Kitamura/Matsubuchi Studio. Exceptional photo quality with interesting subjects and a great story. Thanks so much for reviving these precious photographs from the past. I checked out the basement quickly, and didn't feel easy about stepping into the space. It feels creepy. I rushed through the exhibits, and almost ran upstairs to be back on the main floor. When I was at the last step, the door swung toward me, but was halted abruptly because of the door stopper on the floor, which was there all along. It was a weird experience, but left me feeling anxious and afraid.
